Well, well, well!
I can hardly believe that this blog is still active!
I've decided to try to keep it UpToDate, at least a bit more than I have.
If any of you are out there and still following me, let me know!

It's been so long since I've written on my blog... re-reading my last post; I'm reminded how good God really has been and is to us.
Praise His name heaven and earth...
Praise His name all that is living...
Praise His name all that has breath...
Praise His name forever more!

We are comforted daily knowing that we are loved by God, our family and so many friends! Its hard to imagine what it would be like not to have people in our lives who really care, much less, not knowing that God truly loves us and cares for us... But we know that there are many around us everyday who live their lives not knowing or experiencing true love. Yet God wants to love the world though us... It has been said, and because we have experienced it, we know that its true "We cannot truly give something away that we do not truly possess." Gods word tells us that He is love... If we are to truly give His love away, we must truly possess it. Nothing else will do...
Each day we pray that God will tell His story through our lives and that somehow He will communicate His love to others, through us.
Won't you make this the prayer of your heart too?

We are so thankful for our Son, Nathan and Grandson, Jared, who came and worked so hard around our home this week. For almost four days, Nathan and Jared came and blessed us by mowing yards, trimming shrubs and trees, pulling off and re-laing the patio roof, and repairing our chain link fence. All of this was done during the hottest days we've had this year! Needless to say, our place looks so much better and our burdens have been made lighter!
Nathan also treated his Mom to a hair cut and color, and a pedicure! She looks great!!
Children and Grandchildren truly are a gift of God and we are certainly thankful for ours!
Once again we say "Thank you Nathan and Jared!" Thank you for your servants hearts and for giving of yourselves so selflessly.
Love Mom and Dad / G-Pa and G-Ma

Stella got a clean bill of health Monday! As we talked to the surgeon, Dr. Cashman, we couldn't help but tell that he was happy for her. Once again he told us that Stella is one in one hundred pancreas operations that he performs, that has as good of an outcome.
The mass was fiberistic in nature and according to Dr. Cashman, about the size of a plumb, apricot or golf ball... he said take your choice! I choose a golf ball because the others vary so much in size.
My sister Dianna stayed with us for a week, tending to our needs and caring for Stella. We can't thank her enough and don't know what we would have done without her. Thank you Dianna!!!
Stella is healing well but still feeling pretty tired and pretty sore. Dr. Cashman also told us that this is normal and then reiterated that she would have up and down days.
God is continuing to work in our lives though this experience and we Praise Him for His goodness, grace and mercy.
We feel so blessed to have family and friends who love and care for us. Its hard t imagine what we'd do without them...
Thanks again for encouragement, card and letters.
God Bless each and every one!
Love,
Paul and Stella

Thanks to the medical team that assisted in the operation and recovery of my Bride! The Dr.'s, Nurses and attending Staff are wonderful! What can we say but THANK YOU, ALL!
You made this ordeal the best it could be.
Again, we say thanks!

What wonderful news to share... I brought my Bride home from the hospital today!!!!
She is doing great! Still a little tired and a little sore, but she is doing great!
There are no words to express how relieved we are to be moving beyond this episode in our lives. We are so grateful for family and friends who comforted us during this time. The outpouring of love, encouragement and prayer has been deeply appreciated. We want to thank you all for being so supportive and prayerful. Some may argue whether or not God intervened, but we know that he has. Upon further discussion with the surgeon, he told Stella that when he saw and handled the mass, he thought it would be cancerous... But, initial pathology indicated it wasn't cancerous and final pathology will be confirmed early next week. God is so good!!!!!
Lord willing, my sister Dianna will be coming to stay with us for awhile to help out with things. We are grateful!
Our prayer is, and will always be, that God will bless each of you!
Love
Paul and Stella
